Shorinji Kempo

It been 4 months last time I attending the Shorinji Kempo marital art lesson. So I decided to went to training last night. And some more this weekend there were upgrading lesson on Saturday 2nd August 2008 at Pusat Pembangunan Belia Miri that near to St. Columba Secondary School at 2:00pm.

Running and Shorinji Kempo

Yesterday evening, after office hour I went to my normal running practice. So I went to Miri stadium to do my run and suddenly I have call from my friend say he want to go to Shorinji Kempo lesson tonight. At that point, I already finish 8km of my run.



Seen its still early, so I agree to go together also. We arrive at training ground at 7:00pm and on time. The lesson take 1 hour and 30 minutes. Its was very tiring night for me..

Shorinji Kempo

It been 2 months I not attend the Shorinji Kempo lesson cause I was too busy with my work and so more it chinese new year session. So yesterday evening I attend the class. Maybe I should make more free time to attend it.

The marital art founder was Doshin So and established 1947. And it have been famous around 60 years. He then developed a unique educational system that combined these techniques and his founding philosophy of “Half for one’s own happiness, and half for the happiness of others.” He named this system SHORINJI KEMPO.

Shorinji Kempo Lesson

It been one year I'm attend the Shorinji Kempo marital art lesson. Now I'm at yellow belt level. The class is on Tuesday and Thursday every week and held at Pusat Pembangunan Belia Miri near to SMK St. Columbia. And the Master is Philip Lau. Anyone is interesting are invited to came and try it on class time. It really a good self-defence marital art for male or female.
