16th Blood Donation

This morning, I went to Miri Hospital to do my 16th time blood donation at the blood bank in the Hosiptal. It already 10 years past since my first blood donation at my home town Sarikei Hospital. Now it became my regular activity for every three months. I hope the blood will save more lives.

ICT Exhibition in Miri

After half day work, I going meet my brother at Bintang Plaza. After that we went to the ICT exhibition in Miri indoor stadium. Nothing much to see. There about 50 boots at the inside the stadium.

Another day work at AMPA 9

On Friday 7th March 2008, I need to go Kuala Belait, Brunei and went to AMPA 9 oil & gas installation to do pipe inspection. So I leaving from Miri at 6:00am that morning and arrive the Sungai Tujuh immigration check point at 6:20am. And the queue already a bit long. But that is one van in front of us that have around 11 passengers I think. So we think it will not take long time cause the van is Brunei vehicle, but sadly the passengers in the van is all Indonesian, so we wait for 15 minutes already. But still not yet finish, so we take short cut cause we afraid the boat leaving soon. Luckly the officer do not stop us.

We departure from the Kuala Belait Brunei Shell Petroleum check point at 8:00am using crewboat and arrive at AMPA 9 on 8:45am. Then we need to check in at the administration office at AMPA 9 and apply for the work permit. Meanwhile waiting for the work permit done, we went for breakfast at 9:00am and we start our work on 10:00am. Then we stop for the lunch and continue on with our work until 3:00pm for teabreak.

We stop work at 5:00pm cause we leaving the installation on the 5:45pm crewboat, so we need to clear work area. Finally, we leaving the platform on 6:00pm, late 15 minutes from the schedule...

Diver accident off Miri Water

The stories of diver accident off Miri water during their hull inspection of oil tanker finally have it end. The police have finally retrieve the body of the two driver who going missing on Sunday (2nd March 2008) morning. It have been sad to hear this accident cause I'm also a driver myself and I feel sorry for the victim family and friends. And hope them will recover from this event and have strong faith on their live.

The reason behind this accident haven't been disclosed yet.

Work Permit

This morning, I went to go Kuala Belait to get my work permit done. So, we leaving at 9:30am and arrive at the Kuala Belait around 10:45am. So we went to our counterpart company to pass my passport to them and them will bring to Immigration Department to get it done. I thought it will take a short time to do it. So we went for lunch at Kuala Belait town.

Then, when we went back to the company, I been tell that it will take a long time to do it and we need to wait until 3:00pm. So we went to Kuala Belait town again have some coffee. It been tired day again... and finish I get my work permit done.

Go to Brunei to do my Work Permit

Yesterday morning, me and my colleagues went to Brunei to our work permit at Brunei. And there are miscommunication between the Brunei agencies and us. We been ask to wait at Bandar, so by our understanding, we went to Bandar Seri Begawan. But what he mean is the Bandar Kuala Belait. So we wait at Bandar until 2:00pm. And the appointment with Immigration department is on 2:30 pm at Kuala Belait. So how....

So, the head of the Brunei agencies call again and they are expecting us at Kuala Belait. So, we rush went down to Kuala Belait and it take us 1 hour to arrive there. And sadly the Immigration department head not in the office, so we need to came back on Monday to get our us work permit done..

Shorinji Kempo

It been 2 months I not attend the Shorinji Kempo lesson cause I was too busy with my work and so more it chinese new year session. So yesterday evening I attend the class. Maybe I should make more free time to attend it.

The marital art founder was Doshin So and established 1947. And it have been famous around 60 years. He then developed a unique educational system that combined these techniques and his founding philosophy of “Half for one’s own happiness, and half for the happiness of others.” He named this system SHORINJI KEMPO.

Another day in Office

Now is lunch time, so feel bored and looking at my laptop. And my stomach not hungry. What boring life I have today. And the Parliament election just around the corner. And my posting point still at my home town. Until now, I haven't once going to cast my vote. Maybe, I know that BN will win already. So I don't bother about it.

Bintangor Soda Drink and Kampua

Back at my home town. I went to small town call Bintangor, the place which i get birth. It take 15 minutes from my house to the town and it's very small town. Nothing much change to the town. It look the same from last time I been here. So we stop at this open market and try the Kampua and Soda Drink that produced in this area. The soda drink still the same like last time where I were young.

Back to Miri

Today early morning need to wake up, prepare to went back to Miri. It's coudly day. We departure from my mother house on 7:45am and arrive Upper Lanang, Sibu. And we found half of the road covered by water around one foot height. Luckly only one foot, so we try detour by taking the another road by pass by Sibu town.

Arrive Bintulu around noon time and we have lunch at Farley Cafe, the same place we have lunch during the time we came back to my mother house. After that, we leaving Bintulu and going to Batu Niah. We stop for while to put my brother stuff and then we went to Miri.

Arrive at Miri on 4:30pm.

Uncle Again

Today early morning, I get good new. My elder sister safety delivery health baby girl around 1:00am morning at the Sibu General Hospital. It the 3oth day on Chinese Calender. Wow... So. Me, my brother and mother at early morning already leaving the house to meet my sister at the Sibu General Hosiptal to see my sister and her new baby girl. The baby girl is second child for my sister and the elder one is boy.

Trip back to Home Town

The trip start at my house in Miri at 7:45am and we start moving to Batu Niah. This time I'll follow my brother back to my home town. It take a hour drive from Miri to Batu Niah. And we stop for small break. After that we continue our journey to Bintulu. We leaving at 9:25am.

It take 2 hours and we stop at Bintulu for the lunch and rest. After that we continue our journey at 12:10pm to sibu. All the way from Miri to Bintulu, my brother drive the car, but I take driver position from Bintulu.

Then we stop at Selangau for quick rest and toilet. Then my brother take over the driving. We arrive at Lanang Bridge Sibu on 3:30pm. And we just went pass by the Sibu town.

Finishly we arrive at my home town at 4:20pm. Total distance is around 500km.

Back to Home Town for CNY

I will take a week break starting tomorrow until 10th February 2008 for my Chinese New Year. It's take 6 or 7 hours to drive from Miri to my home town (Sarikei). I will be joined with my elder and the only brother. Today he will came down to Miri from Batu Niah to service his car's.

So, look like I'll be stop doing my running for while, cause I will busy help my mother prepare the Chinese New Year celebration. So..

Birthday

Today is my birthday. What should I do on my birthday? After working, I went for running at Miri Stadium. And I manage to finish my runs goal for this month (100km). Not much to say on my birthday.

Blood Donation & Running

Today i went for blood donation at General Hospital Miri at morning. It already 14 time i done it. I start donated the blood when in secondary school (1998) until now. But i stop doing it when i at university and i'm continue to donate again when i start work.

Blood Donation is a health process and it will not give negatif effect to our human body. Besides that, we may be saving other life. Cause everyday, the demand for the blood always grow. Nothing to afraid to donate blood because the process is painness.

Disciple Training

I will attend Disciple 1 training at Grace Methodist Church (GMC) Miri. The training will take 9 month to complete. So i will spend 30 minutes until 1 hour to read Bible. The training will start next year january 6th and maybe will end around october 2008. I hope from this training i will became better disciple.
